BiObex P/LAMS provides connectivity and data aggregation of multiple biometric systems, subsystems and OS level security features. The solution extends logical authentication to the physical environment. Additionally, by providing a critical Presence Management feature, organizations can activate a real-time display of available resources, locations, and security levels based on those present, or adapt the presence feature to meet customer requirements. Physical/Logical authentication means that a user must be validated entering the physical environment in order to gain access to any system or network resource. Cross reference of physical presence before allowing logical access enhances security, offers an additional level of verification, and provides control by policy of access times.

BiObex P/LAMS fuses both physical and logical authentication and can be configured to include a system of presence management, biometric time and attendance on a distributed network and digital identity management for multi-level secure environments.
